Take a coffee break.
Step beyond the café… to the origin.
In Antigua, Guatemala, cobblestones, volcano views, and a deep coffee tradition come together. It’s a place where you can tour working fincas, taste small-lot beans, and linger in vibrant cafés – meeting the people and craft behind every cup. Antigua is one of our favorite destinations for casual coffee fans and aficionados, and also offers rich cultural, culinary, outdoor, and wellness experiences.

¡Bienvenidos a Guatemala!
Today you’ll arrive in Antigua, a colonial gem nestled between volcanoes and known for its cobblestone streets, colorful facades, lively markets, and deep-rooted coffee traditions.
You’ll transfer from the airport, check in to your hotel, and explore downtown before we gather for a welcome dinner. It’s a warm, relaxed start to the adventure ahead.
-
This morning, we’ll visit a commercial coffee estate just outside Antigua to trace the journey from cherry to cup. Walk the rows of coffee trees, learn from local producers, and see first-hand how beans are harvested, processed, and roasted. Naturally, we’ll taste along the way.
We’ll enjoy lunch together on the estate before returning to Antigua, where your afternoon and evening are free for exploring or relaxing as you wish.
-
Today is all about choosing your flavor of Guatemala.
Choose between a hike on the lava fields of Pacaya Volcano, join a hands-on Guatemalan cooking class, or unwind with a massage at the hotel.
In the afternoon return to Antigua and enjoy the evening at your own pace — whether you’re café-hopping, browsing artisan markets, or simply taking it slow.
-
Savor your last full day as you choose.
You might visit a small specialty coffee farm to contrast with the larger estate, curate your own café tour of Antigua, or explore local art galleries and hidden corners of the city. Be sure to pick up some coffee and other keepsakes to bring back home with you!
Tonight, we’ll gather one last time for a celebratory dinner — to toast new friends and share stories.
-
