Itinerary and Inclusions:

  • Meet fellow travelers at Ludlow Charlingtons and get excited for your upcoming trip with drinks, small bites, drinks, and travel inspiration.

  • ¡Bienvenidos a Guatemala!

Today you’ll arrive in Antigua, a colonial gem nestled between volcanoes and known for its cobblestone streets, colorful facades, lively markets, and deep-rooted coffee traditions.

You’ll transfer from the airport, check in to your hotel, and take a leisurely walk around the town square before we gather for a welcome dinner of regional flavors at a nearby restaurant. It’s a warm, relaxed start to the adventure ahead.

  • This morning, we’ll visit a commercial coffee estate just outside Antigua to trace the journey from cherry to cup. Walk the rows of coffee trees, learn from local producers, and see first-hand how beans are harvested, processed, and roasted. Naturally, we’ll taste along the way.

We’ll enjoy lunch together on the estate before returning to Antigua, where your afternoon and evening are free for exploring or relaxing as you wish.

  • Today is all about choosing your flavor of Guatemala.

Choose between a hike on the lava fields of Pacaya Volcano, join a hands-on Guatemalan cooking class, unwind with a massage at the hotel spa, or soak in the natural thermal pools of Amatitlán.

Return to Antigua and enjoy the evening at your own pace — whether you’re café-hopping, browsing artisan markets, or simply taking it slow.

  • Savor your last full day.

You might visit a small specialty coffee farm to contrast with the larger estate from Day 2, curate your own café tour of Antigua, or explore local art galleries and hidden corners of the city. Be sure to pick up some coffee and other keepsakes to bring back home with you!

Tonight, we’ll gather one last time for a celebratory dinner — to toast new friends, shared stories, and unforgettable flavors.

  • All great journeys come to an end.

Grab a final cortado, exchange contacts with your fellow travelers, and take a moment to reflect on the memories made. Transfer to La Aurora International Airport for your flight home — or onward, if you’re continuing your travels in Lake Atitlán, Tikal, or elsewhere in Guatemala or Central America.
